For over twenty-five years, the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation has worked side-by-side with the local hospital to improve the health of the citizens of Hopkins County. As our community continues to grow, so must the offerings of local health care providers and the hospital. The Foundation is proud to support CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs in the promise to provide the best area health care and to extend the healing ministry of Jesus Christ.
Established in 1997, the Hopkins County Health Care Foundation was organized to secure funds from individuals, businesses and corporations, to provide, promote, maintain, and improve the continual growth of the local hospital, now CHRISTUS Mother Frances-Sulphur Springs. With the generous contributions and support of friends, family, and neighbors, the Foundation is building a strong, long-term endowment that will insure the advancement of health care for future generations of Hopkins County.
The Health Care Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization governed by an Independent Board of Directors who live in Hopkins County.
Held annually, the Lights of Life gala is the largest fundraising event for the Health Care Foundation. Every year we are overwhelmed by the support of the community, and every year we are able to meet our goals. This speaks volumes as to the generosity of Hopkins County and its citizens.
Contributions, whether large or small, are always greatly appreciated. We accept cash donations as well as bequests made through a will or estate planning.

CHRISTUS Mother Frances - Sulphur Springs is undertaking two construction projects to better serve Hopkins County. The surgical services wing will be expanded by added 4 new state-of-the-art operating rooms and larger pre-and post-op patient areas. A new medical office building will be constructed to provide for expanded patient care. The community is asked to partner with the hospital to ensure these two efforts feature the latest medical equipment, technology, and furnishings to better serve patients and their families. The Hopkins County Health Care Foundation Board of Directors invites you to join them on Saturday, January 25, 2025, for a glamorous night of fun and fundraising. The night will include dinner, dancing, games, and live and silent auctions. Chairs for event are the Burgin Family: Linda, Joe Bob, Tiffany, Corey, Julie, and Brad. The theme is Serendipity by the Sea.

Our first Mingo was a lot of fun—we're excited to make our second Mingo event bigger and better! As the crowd grows, so will the prizes. And most importantly, so will the impact we can make on men’s health in Hopkins County. Proceeds will fund a free health initiative for Hopkins County men. We are so excited to see what the 6th annual event has to offer! If we have learned anything from the last 5 years, we've learned that tickets go unbelievable quick.
